Hello! I'm Dervis, founder of our cherished cooking classes in Tirana. Despite a background in Finance, my passion for cooking, kindled at 16, and truly blossomed in Martha's Vineyard's culinary scene at 18. This journey took me from the UK back to Tirana, where I opened my first restaurant at 26, marrying my love for food.

My cooking style is a journey through cultures and memories for me, with a focus on Mediterranean, South American, and Asian cuisines. Influenced by Anthony Bourdain, I view myself more as a food enthusiast and researcher, aiming to break traditional culinary boundaries to evoke joy and nostalgia of childhood memories.

I am launching cooking classes in Tirana to share my knowledge and love for food with guests from all around the world. This dream is now a reality, inviting everyone to join me in a journey that promises not just to learn, but to transform the way we see, feel, and experience food.
THE FOOD PHILOSOPHY
Central to our cooking classes is the commitment to using the freshest, most wholesome ingredients.
I personally handpick each ingredient from various farms near Tirana, adhering to the km0 principle. This ensures that we use local Albanian produce, which is renowned for its freshness and health benefits, thanks to our country's favorable climate and terrain. By doing so, we not only support our local farmers but also provide our guests with the highest quality ingredients that truly make a difference in the flavors of our dishes.
