Surrounded by vineyards, hills, and a peaceful private lake, this experience combines traditional Albanian cuisine with wine, nature, and local hospitality. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed to the winery and introduced to the history of the estate and the winemaking tradition of the region. The experience begins with a guided walk through the winery and vineyard area, where you will learn about grape varieties grown on the estate and the process of producing Albanian wines. Following the winery tour, you will enjoy a wine tasting session featuring a selection of wines produced at Duka Winery. During the tasting, you will learn how the wines are made, how they pair with food, and what makes Albanian wines unique. Next, guests will take a relaxing boat ride on the winery’s private lake, offering beautiful views of the surrounding vineyards and countryside. This peaceful moment allows you to fully enjoy the natural setting of the estate before moving into the cooking experience. After the tour and lake ride, the hands-on cooking class begins. Guided step by step, you will learn how to prepare several traditional Albanian dishes using fresh ingredients. Together with the group, you will make Byrek, Albania’s famous savory pie, prepare Kulac, a traditional bread served with slow-cooked chicken, and finish with Sheqerpare, a classic Albanian dessert soaked in sweet syrup. During the cooking session, guests will also enjoy traditional Albanian appetizers, as well as a tasting of local wine and raki, creating a relaxed and social atmosphere.
